First Infinity Nomad

Hey everyone,

Just finished my first Infinity Nomad Miniature: a "Zero" Trooper. This guy was great fun to paint. A really great sculpt with bags of character. Im happy with how he came out, the highlighting on the black came out better than i thought. This is the first of 6 minis from the Nomad starter set that im working through. Im halfway finished on the first line trooper from the box and will post as soon as complete. Other than that just working away at my foundry commision.

Royal Navy Officer

Hello,

Finished a very nice Royal Navy Officer sculpt from Black Scorpion. This was one of many minis i picked up at warfare this year for no other reason than i wanted to paint it. Really enjoyed painting him, lots of character and very well sculpted. Very happy how the Blue and the off white colour came out. Unfortunately i need to fund other projects so he is up for sale, thanks for looking:

Another Apache

Another mini for my new LOTOW Apache posse. Not as happy with him as the first. Think it was the sculpt that put me off. Not one of my favorites but he will do. Hopefully i will have some more Apache soon but i have lots of other minis waiting. Im working on some more eBay bits, my Yu Jing infinity and some Orcs for Foundry so very busy! il take more pics soon.

Start of a new posse

Ive decided to go for Apaches as my next LOTOW posse. I really liked the Foundry models for the apache and after i read the rules for them i thought they would be a challenge to play. Im really happy how he turned out. i went for a muted colour scheme as i do with most of my old west stuff. i was probably most happy with how the flesh turned out, a formula i picked up from Kevin Dallimore on the SD forum. Hopefully i will be able to get a few more of these done before i have to move on to other projects. More pics soon!

Another Explorer

Finished the third amazon explorer from pack C10 of Mark Copplestones high adventure range. Really enjoying painting this pack so far. This guy has alot of character in him, looks like hes been in the exploring game for all his life. Ive put him up for auction to fund a new project (Black Scorpion Pirates for the eagerly anticipated Legends of the High Seas) Thanks for looking:

Should be the last auction for a lil while as im trying to finish my Cowboy posse for LOTOW and another Unit of Hordes Trollkin for a Commision.

Hi Ho Silver Away!

Hello,

today i thought i would post something i finished a lil while ago but have decided to part with as i need to fund other projects. He is Ltd Ed Artizan Lone Ranger mini, given away with the Showdown expansion for a limited time. The rules are also found in the showdown book. He was fun to paint, using a bright blue for the shirt was a welcome change. I will probably be selling my cowboy posse as i want to try a different gang, was thinking Tong or Apache?

thanks for looking:

So more auctions on the way and hopefully a few pics of some projects im working on.

Cheers

A Fresh Start

Back to painting and a new Blog!

Havnt had alot of time for painting recently due to work commitments but im making sure that i get back into it ASAP. Im looking out for some good lamps with daylight bulbs but not having much luck... that has affected my photography and im not prepared to post anything new until ive sorted it. So.... Ive decided to post the last mini i took a good pic of. An armed Archeologist from copplestone. Im a HUGE fan of copplestone minis and i love painting them. This guy turned out to be my favorite of the pack. He ended up on eBay and went to a good home.
Glad to be blogging again and cant wait to start showing some new bits and bobs.
